The good news is that there was no need to reconstruct the guitar (digging new cavities, etc.- as some expensive industrial sustainers require) The sustainer′s electronics is small enough to be placed into the pot′s cave along with the 9v battery.

It's great that the sustainer's electronics fit right into the existing cavity without needing major modifications. Definitely makes the installation process a lot smoother.
